Then after we collate ALL means everyone MUST you know CONTRIBUTE.. DENNN we can budget out how much we need (DO NOT BURN A HOLE IN YOUR PARENTS POCKETS!!!!! THEY WILL COME AFTER ME!!!!) okokok anyway then we can work out about how much you can save (((:

THENNNN FINALE stage!!!((: WE take into consideration the amount of time we need to save to get to our budget, we shall PLAN + AIM towards a DATE agreeable to ALL.. SO YOU MUST MUST MUST I DUN CARE COME.. CAUSE WE will definately set a date far far far away from today and WE CHOKE you first!!!( THIS blog entries chokes ya FROM all other weird commitment you will have on MYRTLE OUTING DAY!!!! Woah joanne your posts colour is a bit of a strain in the eye!

Anyway I felt it was definately awesome that our homework was clearly explained in E3 and JYM. Personally I have been struggling on this topic, basically "what is the WILL of God?". If you attended E2 or E3, Pastor Sai Moi spells it out very clearly.

The will of God does not need to be a sign or miracle. It does not need to be a dream or vision, or a fantastic sign like Paul's. It is instead found in our very hands - the Bible. The will of God can be found in the Bible, in these passages:

The will of God is..

To be thankful - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
..give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

To be submissive - 1 Peter 2:13-15
Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.

To be sanctified - 1 Thessalonians 4:3
It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;

To accept suffering - 1 Peter 5:10
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

To be spirit filled
I lost the reference for this. I wrote Eph 5:17 but it doesn't seem like it...

The pastor also mentioned that when we do the above, we can choose what we want to do, and it will be God's will, cause He has provided with us the wisdom. I don't know how much you agree with this point. Nevertheless we should be more Christ-like and grow closer to God everyday. After all, don't worry if you have not been called into ministry, or you are not sure what God's purpose for your life. Jesus only started his ministry when he was 30 years old!

my aim for this blog just for everyone to pour out(: hoepfully i get to know your better(:

currently my life is hmmm downhill.. being 18 ain't filled with funn.. ): i thought it was gonna be filled with loads of funnn but nah it isn't.. anyway.. being 18 sighhh MORE expectations on me.. well my parents particularly my mum is "forcing" me to join piano.. i really dun want to.. and well i guess i have been running away from that suffering come problem in my life.. and guess what happened? i am getting so burned now.. my mum is gonna make me stop worship stuff from now on.. cause well she says piano takes pirority.. worship sounds like a distraction from her point of view..

there are 2 ways i can respond.
1. disobey- don't do it, still get banned from worship stuff and yeah be unhappy and think my mum is weird and whatever and she is totally mean and i should hate her and blah blah blah and ultimately let the hate eat me uppp.. i mean its WORSHIP?? its "for" God..
2. obey- don't do any of the above.. *was totally tempted to* but the above argument is really flawed.. because nothing of God ,even "worship stuff" ,will cause you to sin or dishonour your parents.. so this is what i should do..

i should.....
1. pray and ask God for strength
2.find someone to be accountable for keeping me on track of my piano
3.find peace in playing the piano and peace with my mother
4.ask for God's help to find joy in playing the piano
5.commit my lessons to him and ask for guidance in this path in which i am walking on
6. Except God's will for my life in the aspect of worship stuff

its hard people... sigh.. He never said it was gonna be easy.. if you paid attention to sermon today (E3) there will be suffering.. well while growing up my mum use to constantly remind me "obedience is better than sacrifice"... you will sacrifice and compromise your growing relationship with God when you disobey..

i plan to compromise with my mum though.. just praying for the right timing.. i will ask her to allow me to stay in worship ministry and IF i do not keep to my piano lessons den she can take me out of it.. but whaaa *struggle struggle* everyday is a struggle..
